In an attempt to bridge the past with the present, the visual identity was based upon a monospaced typographic language — referencing both analogue archiving practices from the typewriter era and the digital world of computer coding (further highlighted through the use of the slash, which also evokes the structure of filesystem paths). The overall result, robust and minimal albeit elegant, incorporates the primary semantic elements inherent in the exploration, cataloguing and care of timeless design.
